About this statement

About this statement

This statement sets out the steps VoicePro Plus Limited (company number 14520016, registered in England and Wales) takes to understand and address the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains.

VoicePro Plus is a small, early-stage company. Our annual turnover is below the GBP 36 million threshold at which a statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 becomes a legal requirement. We publish this statement voluntarily because the standards it describes are the right ones to hold ourselves and our suppliers to from the outset.

Our business and supply chains

Our business and supply chains

VoicePro Plus provides mobile and communications services and related digital products in the United Kingdom. Our supply chain is concentrated and largely business-to-business: wholesale network and carrier partners, technology and software vendors, payment and identity-verification providers, and professional-services firms.

We do not operate manufacturing facilities and we do not rely on low-skilled agency or seasonal labour. This places the large majority of our direct workforce and our suppliers in lower-risk categories for modern slavery, though we recognise that no supply chain is entirely risk-free.

Our policies

Our policies

We operate a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. The standards we expect of our suppliers are set out in our Global Supplier Conduct Policy, which requires that employment is freely chosen, that there is no forced, bonded or child labour, and that suppliers hold their own supply chains to the same expectations.

Everyone who works for VoicePro Plus has the right to work in the United Kingdom, verified before they start. Our terms with suppliers treat a breach of these standards as a material breach of the agreement.

Due diligence and risk

Due diligence and risk

Our due diligence is proportionate to our size and to the risk profile of our supply chain. We assess suppliers against the standards in our Supplier Conduct Policy and we favour established, regulated counterparties.

As the business grows, we will formalise supplier screening, introduce periodic review of higher-risk relationships, and keep the proportionality of these measures under review.

Training and reporting concerns

Training and reporting concerns

Because we are a small team, awareness of modern slavery risk is currently handled directly rather than through a formal training programme; we will introduce structured training as we scale.

Anyone, inside or outside the company, who has a concern about modern slavery connected to our business or supply chain can raise it in confidence by emailing complaints@voicepro.plus. We will look into every report, and no one will be penalised for raising a genuine concern.
