Global Insight+ Terms of Service
The terms for buying Global Insight+ number intelligence on a prepaid basis, for businesses only.
CONTENTS · 18 SECTIONS
1. Who these Terms are between
These terms (the "Terms") are between VoicePro Plus Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14520016, whose registered office is at Level 18, 40 Bank Street (HQ3), London E14 5NR ("VoicePro", "we", "us"), and the business that opens a Global Insight+ prepaid account (the "Customer", "you").
You accept these Terms when you tick the acceptance box at sign-up or first use the Services, whichever comes first. If you accept for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
2. Who these Terms are for
1.1 The Services are for businesses only. By accepting these Terms you confirm that you are acting for the purposes of your trade, business or profession and not as a consumer.
1.2 These Terms cover number intelligence dips bought on a prepaid basis through our web dashboard or API. Voice, messaging and other services we supply under a separate agreement are not covered.
3. Definitions
In these Terms, these words have the meanings below.
4. The Services, defined
5. Fraud and traffic terms
6. The Services
3.1 Each Service and what its Result contains is described in Schedule 1. Coverage differs by country and by Service (for example, DNO currently covers the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Poland). We will give you the coverage of any Service on request.
3.2 Results come from national numbering data, network operator data and specialist data suppliers, some of it queried live at the moment of the Dip. Results describe a number at the time of the Dip. A number's status can change at any moment (a handset can be switched off, a number can be ported, a range can be reassigned).
3.3 Results are information to support your own decisions. They are not advice. You decide what to do with a Result (for example, whether to route, block or contact a number) and you are responsible for that decision.
3.4 We may add, change or withdraw a Service. If we withdraw a Service permanently, we will give you at least 7 days' notice where we can, and Section 6.6 applies to any Balance you can no longer use.
7. Acceptable use
4.1 You may use the Services and Results only to run, route, protect and keep accurate your own voice and messaging communications services and those you provide to your own customers, including number validation, routing, data quality and fraud prevention, and only where you have a lawful basis for doing so.
4.2 You must not, and must not let anyone else:
(a) use the Services or Results to locate, trace, profile or monitor any individual;
(b) use them to build or clean marketing lists, or to contact people, in breach of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 or any other law on direct marketing;
(c) resell, sublicense or redistribute Results, or access to the Services, as a stand-alone data product, or use them to build a database that competes with the Services, unless we agree in writing;
(d) submit anything other than Numbers in a Dip (no names, addresses, email addresses or other personal details);
(e) send Dips by any route other than the dashboard or the API keys we issue, attempt to get round usage limits, or reverse engineer the Services; or
(f) use the Services in any way that breaks the law or our Acceptable Use Policy at https://voicepro.plus/legal/acceptable-use.
4.3 You must keep your API keys and log-in details secure. Dips made with them are treated as yours and are charged to your Account. Tell us at once if you think they have been compromised.
8. Prices, payment and VAT
5.1 Prices are in US dollars, per Dip, as shown in Schedule 1 and in the dashboard. Where the dashboard also shows a price in another currency, that figure is for information only. The price that applies is the US dollar price shown when the Dip is made.
5.2 We may change prices by giving you at least 7 days' notice by email or in the dashboard. Dips made after the change are charged at the new price.
5.3 You top up in US dollars. The minimum top-up is US$50. You pay by card through our secure payment page, or by bank transfer where we have agreed it with you in writing.
5.4 For customers in the United Kingdom, UK VAT at the standard rate (currently 20%) is added to each top-up, and your Balance is credited with the top-up amount excluding VAT. For customers outside the United Kingdom, no UK VAT is added where the reverse charge applies, and you account for any VAT or similar tax due in your own country.
5.5 Your Balance is credited once your payment has cleared. If a payment reaches us reduced by bank, intermediary or transfer charges, we credit the amount we actually receive.
5.6 Your Balance is kept in US dollars.
9. How your Balance is used
6.1 You need enough Balance to cover a Dip before it runs. If your Balance is too low, the Dip is refused until you top up.
6.2 A single Dip is charged only when it returns a Result. A single Dip that fails, times out or returns no Result is not charged.
6.3 A File Dip is charged when you submit it, at the price of each Dip for every Number in the file that we accept. Numbers we cannot accept (for example, not in E.164 format) are not charged.
6.3A Each check of a Watched Number is charged as a Dip.
6.4 Each Account gets 5 free single Dips a day, across all Services. Free Dips do not carry over to the next day and have no cash value.
6.5 Your Balance expires 18 months after the date of the top-up that created it, and any of it left unused at that point is forfeited. Older credit is used first. We will remind you by email at least 30 days before any of your Balance expires.
6.6 Top-ups are not refundable, except that we will refund any unused Balance if:
(a) we close your Account for a reason other than your breach of these Terms;
(b) we permanently withdraw all the Services; or
(c) the law requires us to.
10. Usage limits and suspension
7.1 To keep the Services stable for everyone, we set limits on how fast and how much each Account can dip, including a daily limit per Account. We will tell you your current limits on request. Dips above a limit may be queued, slowed or refused, and doing so is not a breach of these Terms.
7.2 We may suspend your Account or any API key, without notice where necessary, if:
(a) we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or use in breach of Section 4;
(b) a payment to us is reversed or charged back;
(c) a data supplier or a regulator requires it; or
(d) we need to protect the security or integrity of our systems or our suppliers' systems.
7.3 We will tell you why as soon as we lawfully can, and lift the suspension once the reason has been dealt with.
11. Data protection
8.1 For the Numbers you submit and the Results we return, you are the controller and we are your processor under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Schedule 2 sets out the processing terms required by Article 28 of the UK GDPR, and forms part of these Terms.
8.2 You confirm you have a lawful basis for every Dip you make, and that you will submit Numbers only (Section 4.2(d)).
8.3 We are the controller of your Account details (names, email addresses, billing records). Our Privacy Notice at https://voicepro.plus/legal/privacy explains how we use them.
12. Network data sources
9.1 We do not lease Global Titles.
9.2 We obtain live network data through data suppliers who are bound by contract to comply with the law applicable to their services.
13. Confidentiality and intellectual property
10.1 Each party will keep the other's confidential information confidential and use it only for these Terms. This includes our non-public pricing, API documentation and the structure of our Results. This obligation lasts during these Terms and for 3 years after they end. It does not apply to information that is public (other than through a breach of this clause), or that a party must disclose by law.
10.2 We and our licensors own all rights in the Services, the underlying data and the Results. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Results for the purposes in Section 4.1 during these Terms. You may keep Results in your own operational records after these Terms end, for the same purposes.
14. Liability
11.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
11.2 The Services are provided "as is". Results depend on third-party network and numbering data, and on the state of a number and its network at the moment of the Dip (for example, a handset that is switched off or out of coverage). We do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted or that any Result will be complete, accurate or current, and all terms implied by law are excluded to the extent the law allows.
11.3 Neither party is liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
11.4 Subject to Section 11.1, our total liability to you under or in connection with these Terms is limited to the total amount you paid us for top-ups in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11.5 You will compensate us for any loss, claim or regulatory fine we suffer because you used the Services or Results in breach of Section 4 or of data protection law.
15. Ending these Terms
12.1 You may close your Account at any time from the dashboard or by email. Section 6.6 applies to any unused Balance.
12.2 We may end these Terms by giving you 30 days' notice, and Section 6.6(a) applies.
12.3 We may end these Terms at once by notice if you seriously breach them, or if you become insolvent.
12.4 Sections 6.5, 6.6, 8, 10, 11 and 13 continue after these Terms end.
16. General
13.1 Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the dashboard. If you do not agree, you may close your Account before the change takes effect and we will refund your unused Balance. Price changes follow Section 5.2.
13.2 Notices. We send notices to the email address on your Account. You send notices to support@voicepro.plus.
13.3 Events beyond control. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including the failure of a network operator or data supplier.
13.4 Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them to a company in our group or to a buyer of our business.
13.5 Third parties. No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
13.6 Whole agreement. These Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the dashboard price list are the whole agreement between us about the Services. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
13.7 Law and courts. These Terms and any dispute about them (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
17. Schedule 1: Services and prices
Prices are per Dip, in US dollars, excluding VAT, from 26 October 2026.
HLR will be added, with its definition and price, when it is available in the dashboard.
18. Schedule 2: Data processing terms (UK GDPR Article 28)
1. Subject matter and duration. Running the Dips you request, for as long as these Terms last.
2. Nature and purpose. Looking up the Numbers you submit in numbering, network and fraud databases and returning Results, for the purposes in Section 4.1.
3. Personal data. Telephone numbers, and the network status and history attached to them.
4. Data subjects. Users of the telephone numbers you submit.
5. Our obligations. We will: (a) process the Numbers only on your documented instructions, which are the Dips you request, unless the law requires otherwise (in which case we will tell you unless the law forbids it); (b) make sure that everyone who processes them is under a duty of confidence; (c) keep them secure with appropriate technical and organisational measures (see https://voicepro.plus/legal/data-security); (d) use sub-processors only as set out in paragraph 6; (e) help you, taking into account the nature of the processing, to respond to requests from data subjects and to meet your obligations on security, breach notification, impact assessments and consultation with the regulator; (f) tell you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting your data; (g) delete query records as set out in paragraph 7; and (h) make available the information you reasonably need to show compliance with Article 28, and allow reasonable audits on reasonable notice, at your cost.
6. Sub-processors. You give general authorisation for us to use specialist data suppliers and hosting providers to run the Dips. We will keep a current list available on request and tell you of any change at least 14 days in advance, so that you can object. We impose data protection terms on each sub-processor that give the same level of protection as this Schedule, and we remain responsible for them.
7. Retention. We delete the Numbers you submit and the Results we return 90 days after each Dip, or anonymise them so they no longer identify a number. This covers your lookup history, the results of watched numbers and the Number shown in your Balance history. A Number you choose to watch is kept for as long as you keep the watch switched on; once you switch a watch off, we delete it after 90 days unless you switch it on or dip it again in that time. Billing records (date, Service and charge, without the Number) are kept for 6 years to meet our tax obligations.
8. International transfers. Some Dips are run on supplier systems outside the United Kingdom, including in the European Economic Area and the United States. Where personal data leaves the United Kingdom, we make sure it is protected by an adequacy regulation or by the safeguards required by the UK GDPR.
