One IoT SIM for every device and every market

Most fleets end up with a drawer of different SIMs: one per country, one per network, one per device type. This is one SIM that reaches 730 networks in 203 countries on 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE-M and NB-IoT, in the form your hardware needs: a removable card, a chip soldered to the board, or software on the radio module.

Form factors

Three forms, one network behind them

Removable SIM card

The triple-cut card (2FF, 3FF and 4FF) for routers, gateways, trackers and anything with a SIM tray. The quickest way to test, and the easiest to fit across an existing fleet.

Embedded chip (MFF2)

A 5 x 6 mm chip soldered to the board. Nothing to remove, steal or shake loose. Industrial grade as standard, and available with eSIM multi-profile capability.

SoftSIM

No physical SIM at all: the SIM runs in software inside supported radio modules. The tray and a line on the bill of materials disappear, and one firmware image ships to every market.

Radio2G, 3G, 4G (LTE), LTE-M and NB-IoT, plus 5G non-standalone
Network selectionNon-steered: no preferred list, so the device attaches to the strongest signal. Restrict it per SIM or group with network lists.
APNOne global APN. No per-region configuration.
ServicesData and SMS. SMS is sent and received through the platform and API. No voice and no phone number.
Power savingPSM and eDRX on networks that support them

FAQ

Common questions

Will these SIMs work in my existing hardware?

Yes, in any cellular router, gateway, module or tracker that supports the radio technology you need. SoftSIM needs a supported radio module.

Can the SIMs make calls?

No. They are machine SIMs for data and SMS, with no phone number and no voice service. For your team's phones, see VoicePro Mobile for Business.

What does non-steered mean in practice?

A steered SIM is told to prefer a partner network even when a stronger one is in range. Ours carry no preferred list, so the modem picks the best network at each location. In the UK that can be any of EE, O2, Vodafone or Three.

What happens as 2G and 3G switch off?

The coverage explorer shows each network and technology by country, so you can design around 4G, LTE-M and NB-IoT. The SIM and the platform stay the same when a device moves to a newer radio.
